There is No Place Like Home!

I am finally back on my home turf! I didn't realize how much I missed my family till I talked to them today. I must say I loved every minute I had at Maumee Valley and everyone will be truly missed!!! I will try to post some pictures tomorrow when I'm not half asleep! :) I thanks everyone for being so accommodating and welcoming it made my experience awesome!!! Peace out Girl Scouts!

Last Full Day...

I realize I haven't posted in a while but that is simply because I have had such an amazing time!! I learned a lot at the University of Toledo Medical Center I can't even begin to tell you!! I absolutely love the Martin's!!! It is going to be hard to say goodbye to everyone here, they are all like my second family! I would love to go to school at Maumee Valley Country Day School if it wasn't so far away! :) I am finally packed and "ready" to go!

First day at UTMC!

So today I got to shadow the lovely Leslie! She is amazing!! I have learned and done so much just one day! I can't wait to see what tomorrow has to bring! It was also nice to be able to come home and just relax and actually get to know the Martin ladies! They are truly awesome!!

Ann Arbor!! :)

So yesterday (I fell asleep before I could post this last night) the Martin's and I went to Ann Arbor, Michigan and it was beautiful! No matter how cold and slushy it was outside I still loved it! We visited a couple of adorable shops and then ate lunch with Donna's cousin at the Prickly Pear. It was a delicious Mexican resturant. There we solved the problems of the world one at a time! :) Afterwards we went to the mall in Ann Arbor and shopped some more!! I haven't figured out how I'm going to fit everything in my suitcase yet... Then we had to return home for the next performance of the King and I, which went perfectly again!! The house was super packed! Afterwards we had a cast take over of Steak and Shake! It was so much fun!! :)

Opening Night

Tonight was the opening night for the performance of the King and I!! I am helping by running the sound board. Everyone is simply amazing!! Even though I just started this week I already am singi g the songs and quoting lines! The mark of an actress!! :) Things with the hospital shadowing are finally gettin ironed out. I received 3 pokes in the arm but it will be worth it! I am definitely ready to learn!!

High School Musical!!

First day of school is always nerve racking... But today I was fairly calm cool and collected! Because Katie had OGT's this morning I followed Natalie! She was super polite! After lunch (they had so many choices I didn't know what to do with myself) I went back to following Katie! Everyone of the teachers were very curious and attentive toward me. Which was cool! I love how classes are run and they all have small class sizes so it was an easy adjustment. After school I planned on simply helping a little with the musical, but as it turned out I was asked to help run the sound board. I thought that it might be for just one night... But nope! I will be assisting with the musical The King and I by running the sound board! I'm super excited and nervous already!!! :)
